@grapetrap
Thanks for pointing out Succubus with Guns! Might look into that when it’s on sale. I liked Peach Beach Splash, so as long as this isn’t pure shovelware…
Thanks for putting that horrible, horrible song in my head.
@iGotNintendoAtLaunch I think since PS5's are still tough to find in a lot of places it's only natural they extend the life of the PS4. Would you have the same opinion if you weren't lucky enough to pick up a pS5?
The original Valkyrie Profile was so tight.
I'll wait for Valkyrie Profile to go on sale. $20 is a fair price, but I'm cheap when it comes to digital games. I'd bite at $15.
It’s always been weird to me the indies and smaller studio games don’t release around this time. People have money and gift cards burning a hole in their pocket, go get it.
I started the callisto protocol once the kids passed out on Christmas day. Gotta say, its one hell of a good looking game. Enjoying it so far.
@Weebleman likewise certainly doesn't deserve the negative reviews.
Hasn’t that asterix game been out like 4 years?!?!?
new PS5 and PS4 games available between 2nd January to 8th January 2023.
None & None
Truly epic week lol
Why is there a post for nothing new this week?
@CutchuSlow Pretty sure it's just for consistency - like those reports with a page that says nothing other than "this page intentionally left blank."
@blockfight I would because I'd know its only because of me that I don't have one. People who made the effort deserve better experiences
@Andy22385 "Made the effort"? Plenty of people "made the effort" and couldn't get one for a long time.
@Weebleman dead space on a bad acid trip is what it is cracking game. And the liquor told me Julian is a muscled man!
@Mad001 you leave sexy julian out of this randy
Already purchased Odyssey, just waiting for the demo on the 10th now.
@Gaia093
Which One Piece Odyssey edition did you get, and why? I haven't decided on which one I'd want to buy yet.
Anyone looking forward to Vengeful Guardian? I was a huge Shinobi fan on the Genesis
@Colour Which people? As a parent I feel cleaned out after buying gifts for our family. I also generally am still playing the one or two games I got around the holidays and am not looking for a new game.
@Weebleman yep stayed away from any press about it. And I think it's better than ds imo. josh is wicked In it!!
@straw-hat-crew The regular edition. I think the only difference for Deluxe is that it includes a "Story Expansion", which is DLC that won't be available at launch anyway. So I'll just buy that later if the DLC looks interesting.
Not really into preordering, these days. Too many "this game is going to be awesome" and then a mediocre review after launch. Waiting to read a few reviews on One Piece, but definitely have my fingers crossed.
@RudeAnimat0r limit the amount you spend on others. Some people go crazy at Christmas and it's never needed. I have three kids and they're limited to £200 each which leaves me with enough to treat myself. We all deserve a little something for ourselves 😊
@blockfight they didn't though. For most people making the effort is asking in a store or check websites occasionally. Actually making an effect is signing up to stock lists, stock alert apps and following twitter stock pages. If people did that they'd have one almost instantly
@Andy22385 and what if I told you a few people I know did all that and still struggled for months?
Cool word up son
Ah, just one more week til Forspoken. FINALLY!
Persona 4 still seems so stylish, by the way.
Going to get all my chores and errands done during this quiet week and then play Forspoken.
Oh man. Persona 3 and 4. I would preorder them if that was an option.
@blockfight then they'd be the only people I've heard of. I linked my friends to at least 8 or 9 for sale and they got theirs.
Is it safe to assume persona 4 cloud saves from Vita won't work on the PS4 version? I'll probably do switch or just game pass if my old save from 3/4 through won't carry over.
Definitely picking up P4G and P3P. Only wish that we could pre-order them instead of waiting for them on release day but oh well.
@NEStalgia that would've been a nice touch, and probably easyish to implement, but I've heard nothing about it so I'm guessing not.
As much as I hate EA and try not to buy their games, I’m hyped for Dead Space. I know it’s not this week (it’s next week) but all the same, nothing else matters for the time being. 😁
Well I’m looking for a decent new jrpg world I can lose myself in. I’m thinking either that One Piece Odyssey or Monster Hunter Rise. Any other suggestions I should be considering? Something in the vein of Ni No would be ideal
You're forgetting Neptunia Sisters vs Sisters
I might be one of the few gamers that doesn't find a lot of joy in replaying games, even remakes. I'm going to make an exception for Dead Space.
@Mikey856 Star Ocean The Divine Force is pretty good- I'm loving it at the moment
Deliver Us Mars for me in Feb.
Nothing for me. I’m trying to finish Mass Effect 2 before Hogwarts Legacy.
PS5 is lacking some really big games. It's over two years old, they should have a lot more exclusives by now. Even PSPlus is weak for PS5 owners.
When a game is listed as just PS4, that just means there's no dedicated PS5 version correct?
Seems like I'm the only vocal gamer here excited to play thru SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake?
I'll be waiting for both Forspoken and Dead Space to drop from $70 USD to $30 USD or cheaper in a few years or become free with PlayStation Plus.
Whichever happens first, my gaming backlog is so big I can be patient and wait.
Just seen Chef life is releasing 3 weeks later in the UK, which is annoying.
